Breakfast was very limited after every other hotel we have stayed in.Pity the rooms need to have shutters over the windows all the time tokeep your privacy form passing guests. A long ways from the town and train station. Small room and limited breakfast.The walk uphill to Assisi. Catered too much to a busload of tourists and forgot about other guests. Had to carry bags down too many steps in rain nearer rooms were vacant. Walking distance to AssisiGardens, Olive trees, viewsPool. The pool is very well used and ideal for this location in summer. The location was good, just 20 minutes of walk to the St.Francesco in Assisi. Excellent views and great pool.Amazing value for money. The lady on duty very nice, breakfast great. The property was with an amazing view of the valley over the pool. Very obliging staff and a sense that the house is owned and loved by people of character. Lots of fascinating pictures and furniture. The lounge area and the breakfast were food as well. The numerous patios with flowers, trees and the pool make it very pleasant. The location is beautiful with great views of the valley from our room. It was a shame we could not appreciate the verandah (with a view) and chairs under olive trees! A special place!. Absolutely beautiful area.Tre Esse has Assisi on the hill as backdrop-abour 4km away.It's a good escape from busy cities.
